Life at VIT by Sunil(first year)

Vellore Institute of Technology, popularly called VIT UNIVERSITY, is a dream destination for engineering aspirants. All across the country, engineering aspirants are willing to take admissions at VIT. The campus life at vit is one of its kind. Modern library, unique engaging clubs, different mess for specialized food, natural aesthetics, and a lot more is appreciated by its students.
Sunil, who is a 1st year student of CSE with Bio-informatics Specialization, and also a member of two clubs, takes you on a tour of his campus through photographs and descriptions.

VIT boasts of its well-planned and comprehensive infrastructure provided for both- students and faculty. It is totally a ‘Kingdom of Dreams’ for a person like me, who in stances of disruptive psychology, can easily manage to overcome that by just walking around the lush green campus

Talking about the Curriculum, VIT offers FFCS that is Fully Flexible Credit System (i.e. we can chose our time of classes, our faculty, our academic building, and lots more.) that is not offered in any of the colleges in India apart from VIT. It’s purely an American system for which VIT utilizes international accreditation as an important means to benchmark its programs against the best in the world and assure that they meet the quality standards established by global professional organizations.

We have our own vit-gmail account. Any news whether achievements by students, any guest lecture, any important circular and all sorts of official notices are dealt-with at this place. This gmail account has the database of the VIT’s faculty, so that we can easily contact them at any time.

Yes, the various societies, student chapters and clubs apart from what VIT does, hold technical as well as non-technical events within the campus. The advertising is done through class announcements, hoardings, posters, online advertisements, vitgmail. Interested students take part in such events. The events are almost on regular basis and the registrations may or may not be free.

There is a minimum attendance criterion of 75% of which we have to adhere to. But the 9 pointers are abstained from this criteria and so as per my wish, I prefer devoting that time for other activities.

Finally i came to know i should be very thankfull to god for blessing me with such a good Universuty where i didn't find any diiference between home and college.
